The Koningshof in Veldhoven having hosted the VAD show in times gone past will host the third X-FI show this year and Sonneteer of Britain will be there again alongside Penaudio loudspeakers of Finland. The show will be on for two days, the 29th and 30th of September 2012. The British luxury mark will be hosted by their partner in the Netherlands, Riverside Audio. Sonneteer managing director was quoted as saying, “Riverside have put in a great deal of effort over the years in representing Sonneteer and showing us in our best light. The people of the Netherlands welcomed us in with warm hearts all those years ago when we first started. It really is the best place to come in the world to show and meet the enthusiasts.”
Riverside Audio, are the representatives of both Sonneteer and Penaudio in the Netherlands and have a wealth of more than 30 years experience in hifi. On show will be all the Sonneteer favourites including, but not only, the Alabaster amplifier, Byron CD player and the Morpheus Music Centre, integrated amplifier and Streamer.
CES 2011: Expect an iPod, an Android and the God of dreams. Sonneteer are back in the limelight.
The Sonneteer Morpheus Music Centre has come of age and acquired a family. It has its own stand, a Server which rips and stores music and, courtesy of Reciva the internet radio people, an App that will remotely control all functions on all the Morpheus units you may have in your home.
All of these will be on show alongside a selection of beautifully crafted loudspeakers from Sonneteer’s brothers in arms, Penaudio.
The Morpheus Server will be showing off its skilled silence as well as its ability to look beautiful in its hand crafted, engraved aluminium coat. The Music centre as well as a new stand will be going blue in the form of a Blue tooth option so iPhones, iPods, iPads and just about any other mobile phone or device with bluetooth built in can send music to it.
Talking of colours the full range of 12 will be on show; options now available on all Sonneteer products.
Sonneteer will be showing at the Son & Image show in Montreal March 25th to 28th. BA strikes allowing Sonneteer’s Haider Bahrani will be on hand to talk about the Sonneteer Morpheus system which now comprises of the Music Centre and the Server which was previewed at the CES show in Las Vegas in January.
The production model will have its full début at the Canadian show at which Sonneteer will be hosted by their Canadian representatives Liberty Trading and their glorious leader, Nabil Akhrass.
For the second time this month Sonneteer will be on show with Penaudio loudspeakers. Penaudio will be introducing their Series 2 Ambient lineto Canada as well as the New Sara which, in the words of Sami Penttila, is a ‘baby Serenade’. Oh and we love the Serenade. We have already heard great things about this speaker from Riverside Audio in the Netherlands. More on the Netherlands show soon.
The Sonneteer Morpheus Server is shipping now and is available in a range of colours. The word from the Sonneteer stables is that Ruby Red is slowly becoming a favourite as the orders pile up and also that at least one has been ordered in the colours of a local London football team! As you can see from the sneak peek photo we got our hands on, the Server logo and markings are hand engraved onto the aluminium before bright colour anodised.
The Sonneteer Classics will also be on show with the Sedley USB headlining on the second main performance stage at this festival of sound.
We promise you more as the show progresses
Need less to say, the reviewer, who’s first encounter with the Sonneteer device was at the last CES in Las Vegas, January 2009. The team at Sonneteer will be hoping to thank him in person for his kind words, this coming January where they will be showing again at the Venetian Hotel Suite 29-310.

Sonneteer step into the lap of the god of dreams.
“A music centre, by Sonneteer; Morpheus the god of your dreams, brings together all the modern ways to play stored music, as well as allowing a few of the old.
If it be the 14000+ radio station, the 20000+ on demand stations or all the music now stored on the compueter hard disk, the Morpheus playes them all in that famous Sonneteer quality Sonneteer have not lost their traditional roots with this machine as all their knowledge and experince has been harnessed and pumped into it..
Launched with the help of UKTI at the January Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas, Sonneteer have now launched the Moprheus in the UK after a successful roll outs in Japan, USA, and Europe amongst others.
Reveiwise the Morpheus has already been exceptionally well received with top of the table reports from Japan, korea and more recntly France. With more sure to follow.
It streams CD quality music, plays internet radio, reads your memory stick and even plays music off mobile phones.
Wired or wireless, the Sonneteer Morpheus has just about everything. It is an integrated amplifier and all media player in one. Sits on the side board, hangs on the wall or stand mounts, it fits anywhere. Is traditional hi-fi dead? Well Sonneteer dont quite go that far and insist that separates still have their place in high end audio, but outside of vinyl, the whole industry is looking for something fresh and new and, of course good.
Could the Morpheus be just that? Sonneteer certainly think so. More in this vein is promissed soon too.
